You want to wear your favorite sandals or flip-flops and go to the beach. But you wear jeans and closed shoes, whereas those lovely floral printed skirts and shorts are lying somewhere in the wardrobe waiting for you to take them out. You can’t wear them because your legs and feet are full of white, flaky skin that is making them look dry and dehydrated.

Dry skin is nothing but the dead skin that has accumulated over the top layer of your skin because it has not been exfoliated for a long time. In this article, we have some very simple and easy ways to get rid of dead skin from feet and legs.

1. Coconut Oil
You Will Need
Virgin coconut oil

What You Have To Do
Massage some coconut oil on your feet until it is absorbed into the skin.
Leave it on overnight.
You can also use olive oil or baby oil instead of coconut oil. Add a few drops of tea tree oil to any of the carrier oils for a soothing effect.

How Often You Should Do This
Do this every night before going to bed.

Why This Works
Coconut oil is an excellent emollient and humectant that hydrates your skin and makes all the dryness and flakiness vanish after just a few applications .

2. Apple Cider Vinegar

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
A bucket of warm water

What You Have To Do

Remove your feet from the water and scrub them with your hands to remove the flaky skin.
Rinse with plain water. Pat dry and apply a moisturizer.

1/4 brown sugar
4-5 tablespoons coconut oil
A few drops of essential oil (lemon, peppermint or tea tree oil)
